Which watersport would you not practice?

Postby Shine_Spirit » Mon May 01, 2017 10:16 am

I love water and I love adrenaline so this question is easy for me to answer: I wouldn't refuse to practice any of them.

I only "regret" to this day, regarding the sports that I haven't yet been able to prarticar. I have to update my list (as soon as possible) and decrease the number of sports that are still lacking.

How about you... Are you brave enough? 8-)

I had been to the famous wakeboarding facility in a man-made lake south of Manila. That resort was nice and it's a nature trip because it's far away from the city, no congestion. When my nephew and nieces tried the wakeboarding, that's when I learned that it's not an easy sport. In fact, the one hour of session yielded nothing but flops on the water. Not one of the young guys with us was able to conquer the lake.

There are number of water sports which I have not yet participated in and I see people doing them with my eyes wide open. Like I fancy watching stand up board surfing. I feel amazed the way people propel them according to tide and fall in the water in the process. Maybe I am not so good at swimming in ocean so I am no good at this water sport.

I'm really afraid of water tides. I also face sea sickness when the water has loads of turbulence. The rise and fall of the water often leaves me scared at times. Though I have tried some water sports like underwater sea walk , water biking , paragliding but still there are many which I would not like to do at all.

I am a fan of water adventure, I like rafting very much. White water rafting is my favorite water sports. However, I would never do kayaking. In order to kayak, you will have to take a boat and go by yourself. Running through the rapids by yourself can be very risky because when the boat turn upside dowi in the rapids there will be no one to save you.

Maybe, Parasurfing? I saw something like that in one of our beaches here, Boracay. It takes strong muscles to grab on to that kite. And, I guess, you have to look for the direction of the wind so your kite can start floating in the air. Imagine the amount of strength you use while you get dragged by the wind. I thought, I can't even carry a surfboard on one hand, there's no way I can grab on to those. I have done river rafting, scuba diving, parasailing but never surfing or parasurfing. Wakeboarding would be nice.
