How often do you go for Watersport

Postby tony » Mon Mar 27, 2017 8:19 am

Some years ago I was more actively involved in all sorts of water sport. In a week we we'll visit the water at least twice for swimming, training our diving skills, different sorts of water surfing and many other skills. We'd go to pools or rivers within our locality have some fun doing different forms of games in the water and at other times formulate our kind of game. This sort of game is more enjoyable at younger age from my experience.

I'm the same as you, but not just when it comes to water sports, but with any activity. When I was younger I was very rarely actually in the house as I took part in a number of outdoor activities from mountain biking to windsurfing and swimming, but as I have got older I have tended to do less and less.

I still keep myself in shape and I'm sure that if I wanted to I could take up all the sports I used to do, but it's just that time these days goes against me. With work, family and other pastimes I simply don't have the time to do as much as I want these days and especially when it comes to water sports as we now live further away from the coast than ever. I do miss not doing the activities, but somethings in life are more important.

I have only been swimming not really practiced any other water sports since I am afraid of drowning. I would one day like to snorkel, it sounds fun. I still can't believe I haven't tried it since it's very popular here where I live. I think I will try it in a few years when I to a beautiful place I am longing to go at especially since there will be people who will be guiding me.

The most common watersport for me is swimming (by the way, it's one of my favorites :) ) because I swim with a frequency of at least 3 to 4 times a week (sometimes more... but never less than that).

I also practice other watersports (surfing, for example), but with a much lower frequency than swimming. I wished to have more spare time left over to devote myself to practice other watersports too.

I absolutely love water sports! And besides swimming, I have done some scuba diving in Lakshdweep in Arabian Sea. White Water Rafting is my favorite water sports which is available back in m country at a distance of about 150 km at Rishkesh, one of the world's best white water spot in Ganges. I also like engage in other boating activities in rivers and lakes.
