Leisurely walk for a trek

Postby Alexandoy » Tue Jun 13, 2017 11:48 am

What I understand with trekking is walking in the forest or in a place where there is no clear pathways. But how about a leisurely walk? There was a time that my wife and I were invited to a wedding held in the forested mountain. We had to walk 4 hours from the edge of the town. And that 4 hours is no joke so we preferred to walk leisurely with a matching conversation. When we reached the wedding venue, we were tired but not spent because we somehow enjoyed the long walk.

That is a long walk to get to a wedding but then again a good four hours spent with your wife which some couples might need. I have done this to get to a musium once since parking was too far because the near parking spaces were full. We didn't walk four hours but close to 2 hours but there was a lot of sight seeing in the way so it was fun. It also helped that I was with my family so I had someone to talk to.
