Camping

Postby to7update » Fri Feb 10, 2017 9:58 pm

I have great camping experiences and memories from when I was a teenager. I used to ride my bike with the tent on my back (pretty crazy now that I think of it), and spent the time of my life visiting different locations. Now I try to replicate that (using a car haha) with my kids, and they love it too. Do you camp? Do you take your kids along?

Well, here we having big group who love to do hiking. so we do it via walking on hill areas. Yes sometimes we take kids with us and they have lots of fun during it. Personally I like to go to such places with big group so that we can have lots of fun.

I have never been camping in my life but according to people I know it is a great experience. I would really like to have the experience one day but to be honest I'm a bit afraid. I guess I will wait for my daughter to grow more to plan out a day and for both to experience our first camping trip together. I will just take an Rv as I feel we won't be safe enough in a tent.

I remember the best camping that I've experienced when I was in secondary school. We went to this very huge school wherein there are plenty of mountains and trees. There are tents everywhere and for you to be able to get a drink, you have to walk for at least 1km, which I think is too far (since I was a child back then). The roads are too steep and there are a lot of obstacles along the way before we could go to a bathroom. But I did enjoyed that and I would love to visit the place some time :)

Do you camp as well when you go hiking @naruto100?

I had great hiking experiences too. Once I was with a couple of friends, and we ventured longer than we wanted to, but our survival instinct prevailed, and we jumped into a water course to get back. It was a great experience! :)

I love camping since I first experienced it during my boy scout days. And even when I already had a family, I continued my camping expeditions in the woods with my friends. It was really fun and I terribly enjoyed those days. But later in life, camping now is with the family and we go not to the woods anymore but in resorts and secured camp grounds. Yes, we still sleep in tents and cook our own food by the fire but it's different from the camping of yore because now, we bring food. Oh well, how I would love to go on camping in the Australian Outback when our plans would materialize next year, probably by January or February.

I have been camping few times at various locations and must say that it has always been fun especially on the beach.

The star filled sky, cool breeze, capmfire and right company can totally give an amazing time.

I could write a book (in several parts... without exaggeration  ) about my experiences with campings. I've been going to camps since I was a kid, and even today (less often, of course) I still tend to participate in campings.

I have always enjoyed it because it has helped me to awaken my sense of exploration (and also to want to travel more), and has given me great and true friendships over the years. ;)
