Re: What is your favorite movie involving some watersport?

Is it wrong if I put Deliverance on the list? It is a great movie, although a bit more depressing and eerie than most of the other ones. I do love canoeing though and for the first part that is a good part of it. I would put it on there.

Re: Traffic due to accident

This is really one of the last things that I would want to have to deal with if I was on the tail end of a trip of some sort and in a foreign place, but it is something that you need to plan for anywhere you go these days. Haven't had it yet but always looking out.

Re: Hiking with lots of stuff

Well this is one area that I have just learned to really work out my legs before going on a long hike. If I know that there is a lot of gear, my legs are usually the first to go so the calves and quad muscles are important for me to try to build up.

Re: When the road is not good

Driving can sometimes just add that extra little frustration to a trip, if things go that way, and for me it seems like they often do. I would much rather avoid this if at all possible, but of course things are not that easy.

Re: Cross-country European tour

Now this would be something that I could really get super excited about. On top of the great experience ans exercise, if you give me all of those sights to see than that would really put a stamp on everything. Sounds like a dream trip...maybe one day.

Re: Camping in a strange place with no guide

I cannot really say that I have been camping at anywhere that is particularly strange, but we did get in the worst blizzard that the region had seen, and that made for some interesting terrain, and some wet socks the entire trip.

Re: Camping in a pool resort

I would not really think of this an experience to seek out but it seems like it worked out for you and makes me rethink that one. I am not really sure where I would start but I will have to keep an eye out now.

Re: Sleeping during a climb

I think that I would be as nervous I have ever been if I was forced to do this. I am not the greatest with heights so this is just no my cup of tea, at least not at the moment.

Re: Stopover on a road trip

Well I say that any stop over is a bad, but then again I am bringing years of negative experiences and an overall cynical attitude to the table. I suppose maybe it is an adventure waiting to happen, but still.

Re: Do you have a favorite brand of bike?

I really don't, but at the same time I know the ones that I can consider and the types that I am looking for. I am not the biggest biker out there though, so my pickiness goes to the other products like tents.
