Re: Planning the meals

Well, I don't exactly plan as to where I shall be eating whie on the road. I do carry my own snacks just in case of emergencies and explore eating places on the road sides.

Where ever I feel it is hygienic enough, I would eat. It would also depend on my time and when I feel hungry.

Re: Parking car on side of road for sight seeing

I agree with most of you here. People have lost the sense of respect for others and if you tell them to move they feel as if you are at fault.

It is extremely dangerous to park car on hilly areas or those with valleys or cliffs. You never know on such narrow and hairpin turns who shall knock you.

Re: A life without a bike.

Since I can't ride a two wheeler, there is no question of addiction here. Lol.

I have always walked and so being on a bike or in a car is a priviledge. I can imagine people getting so used to their means of transport that being without it can cause stress.

Re: Bad weather

I had bad weather several times while on the road. Heavy rains and fogs aren't a great company during driving. We were forced to slow down to a crawl as it was pitch dark in a long empty road and it was raining heavily. Stopping totally did not feel a safe option back then as we didnot know what lur...

Re: Forgot to bring an important thing

Oh this is so me! Lol. It is practically impossible for me to travel anywhere without forgetting some essential thing lol The question of listing is a task for me as I recall stuffs haphazardly when I am actually away from my list. Most times they aren't things that we can't survive without so we en...

Physical fitness

Climbing a mountain is not as easy as one might think. It needs a lot of endurance and pre climbing workout is necessary.

A lot of endurance exercises help build stamina and is done months before a serious mount climb.

What exercises as a pre-work out do you think would help one during a climb?

Re: Too many stopover

Nothing irritates me more than unnecessary stopovers that delay my journey. It is very common for some people to want to have snacks after every few hours or just coffee/tea breaks. I don't mind bathroom breaks as that can't be stopped however, it is quite irritating that people always want to slow ...

Re: Hiking for days

Hiking for days can be fun if you are with the right company and for others knowing your trail beforehand can be comforting too. If you know your trail beforehand, you would know exactly where to get food or water from so that would be not a problem. You would also know where to rest so despite days...

Re: Camping with no weapon for defense

Indeed it is a bit scary to venture into wilderness without a method of self defense. A walking stick may be handy in some cases. It is true that many camping sites do not allow weapons however, toolkits can also sometimes be converted into weapons. I have even known people who carry acids for this ...

Re: Do you think watersports are good for health?

But of course water sports are excellent for improving lung capacity. It gives an awesome stamina.

Not to mention the way it gives you muscular strength as going against the current needs strength.
