Re: Enjoying a nice highway

It would have been an awesome experience. When we go to our hometown for the vacation my dad would drive in 90mph which is the maximum for our highway. This will be comfortable for us to sit but my mom would freak out. Going in hat speed with an awesome road will be so amazing. :)

Re: One week road trip

My college friends went on a road trip to Sikkim. They were posting photos of their trip on Facebook constantly making us feel jealous. Just joking. They said they had a wonderful time and learned a lot through this trip. They said it was quite an experience. :)

Re: Hiking with lots of stuff

I always prefer to travel light. Like you said extra stuffs are always a burden in a trip as you have to carry it all around. I prefer to take gadgets only when it is absolutely necessary. I used to carry my camera to take pictures now I am taking all the photos with my smartphone itself. That one g...

Re: Camping with a camper

I too love campers. They are best suitable when we have to camp during rain like you said Alexandoy. I have seen many campers but sadly I have never had the experience of camping in a camper. I have only watched in the T.V. Maybe in the future I may try. Have a great day. :)

Re: Cross-country European tour

Sounds like a cool idea to take your own bikes and go on a trip around the country. It will be a wonderful experience I think. I have never had any of those trips but would love to in the future. I am too raised in a tropical country but I will be easily adapted to different climates and temperature...

Re: A long convoy

My dad has once traveled in a convoy as he is working in the defense industries. He said it was a half an hour to some secured place where normal people aren't allowed and so he traveled along with heavily armed forces in behind and ahead of his convoy. He said it was quite an experience and said he...

Re: Camping in a strange place with no guide

I too have experienced this when I was a part of scouts and guides team in school. We went camping in a village and we felt it more like living in a jungle than in a village as it was densely covered with trees. It was a five-day camping and we will all get credits accordingly how much work we do ef...

Re: Camping in a pool resort

Sounds like great fun. I have never camped in a pool resort and maybe I should try this out for a different experience. Kids will surely enjoy these kind of places and I feel pretty safe and enjoyable for kids.

Re: What do you leave behind after a campout?

When we camp, the only leftover would be our burnt woods from our campfire. For other biodegradable wastes, we would dump in a pit and cover it. Other wastes I carry it along wth me in a separate bag and dispose of it safely after reaching home. This has made me feel responsible. :)

Re: Typhoon poses danger on the road

Thank God @Alexandoy that you were safe. We have never traveled during a typhoon but we had traveled during heavy rain. One time we had to attend my grandmother's funeral; in our hometown at it is 5 hours trip. Since it was an emergency situation we didn't care about the weather and we got stuck in ...
