Typhoon poses danger on the road

Postby Alexandoy » Thu Jun 29, 2017 11:23 am

Have you experienced traveling on the road during a raging typhoon? We were on a hurry to fetch my wife's mother in the province that we ignored the typhoon warning. In the highway, it was visibility zero and the road was somewhat flooded. But we proceeded since the water is just about 5 inches high. Suddenly there was a big billboard made of plywood that was flying high.We didn't know what to do but to slow down. Fortunately the billboard did not hit a vehicle.

Thank God @Alexandoy that you were safe. We have never traveled during a typhoon but we had traveled during heavy rain. One time we had to attend my grandmother's funeral; in our hometown at it is 5 hours trip. Since it was an emergency situation we didn't care about the weather and we got stuck in heavy showers. Luckily we reached our destination safely. :)
