Road trips with talkative people.

Postby Shine_Spirit » Wed Jun 14, 2017 10:02 am

Do you like or not?

Particularly speaking, I'm a very talkative person... But I know dosage moments where I need to be silent (or talk a little less). But unfortunately not everyone who usually talks a lot knows how to do it and ends up turning great moments into very boring moments.

There are some moments where silence is fundamental for a trip to be excellent (especially when the purpose of the trip is to reconnect with yourself).

Have you ever experienced such a situation?

Oh I might be one of the worst at being able to ignore them and let them be. I just need my peace and quiet, especially on long trips, so if it is excessive I will be sure to let them know...in a polite manner of course.

I also like moments of peace and quiet during trips. I am one of the quiet people so I don't have a problem remaining quiet when needed. I feel lucky since the people I usually travel with are always aware when it's appropriate to be quiet and when to talk. I guess it's nice to travel with like minded people.

I think in long trips, silence - sometimes - is essential. People who talk a lot should understand this once and for all.

Not all moments were meant to be spoken... Some moments were made just to be felt. Not saying a word can actually tell you an entire book - depending on the situation - If you know how to interpret the absence of sound. ;)

I love to drive on a road trip when there is a good conversation in the air. It's boring to drive with 4 passengers who are all asleep. This usually happens on our way back home from a long trip. When there is a lively conversation, it perks me up and makes my mind active. That's very ideal when in the highway. But in the city where traffic is heavy, it's all right to hear the conversation although I rarely respond.

Oh no, I would probably get distracted if I found one during travel. I prefer to enjoy the scenes and the Nature while traveling and keep a track of things. Okay, let me admit if my co-passenger is an outstanding beauty that talks about travel experiences of different places perhaps I would not mind her. By the way I have met all kind of co-passengers and made some very good friends during my journeys.

Talking with extra talkative people is such a big headache. With them I always feel that silence is golden and must be availed as much as possible. Everyone likes the company of lively and joyful people but those speaking constantly only for the sake if doing so are completely unacceptable by me.

All my trips are very precious for me and I don't like anyone spoiling them in any case.

Well, I will love having someone kind of talkative person so that my trip goes easily. I always found traveling boring if I am driving, so if someone is good in talking then I can spend my time easily. I can easily talk on any topic without losing concentration from driving. So I won't mind.

I don't have the slightest problem with people who talk too much (because I am also one of them  ), my problem is more precisely because many of them don't know the ideal moment to slow down the conversation or even to be silent in the right moment.

A person who talks too much can easily become a very boring person (even without realizing it :( ).

I don't talk too much or be very silent. Just the right amount talking when it is necessary and being silent when it is essential in order to enjoy the trip. Well, there are times where I will be talking without stopping and get scoldings from my friend to shut my mouth. LOL. But we should be in control. :)
