Wellington Botanic Garden

Postby Jasmin Cottontail » Tue Feb 28, 2017 5:29 am

If you love flowers, trees and other plants then you surely would love to visit Wellington's Botanic Garden. Not only ordinary plants but they have New Zealand's exotic plants as well. I've never been here but I would love to visit the place since I love the scenery and it totally looks like a paradise! :D It's perfect for school trips and a great tourist spot! The garden is lovely, not huge but in a wonderful setting. I used to have lunch there all the time. Then it is easy downhill stroll down Wellington's distinctive stair walkways to the downtown area. Downtown Wellington has theaters, the Te Papa museum, the government buildings, and really so much going on. The whole area overlooks the bay and is really designed with walkers in mind.

If you go to NZ and skip Wellington IMHO you have missed the best part!

I love botanical gardens. In fact, I had been to Kew Gardens in London and I loved it. I had also been to the botanical garden in Singapore. Oh, I had lots of selfie in that garden beside the zoo. And we also have our own Botanical Garden in Baguio City, north of the Philippines. For sure I would enjoy that botanical garden especially so with the exotic and unique plants and trees native to the south.

Oh that sounds like my kind of trip! I am into all things nature, but I especially love discovering new places and seeing new things like plants or animals that I've never seen or even heard of before. I do know that the Botanical gardens cover quite a large area of land, so if one were to visit the place, how would they get around to see everything in one day?
