Biking with the kids
Biking with the kids
My older kid just turned 10, and we got him a new bike. Today I am picking them up after school, and we will be riding the bike for a while. I think it's pretty great when we have the opportunity to do this on week days with the kids, better than having them stuck at home playing video games... Do you get to bike with yours?
I love most outdoor activities!

I fully agree that biking is way much better than letting the kids play with the gadget. Computer games is a no-brainer and can only develop mental fatigue especially in children. It's fun to do some activities with the children and with biking, you can see the sights especially when you bike for long distances. But even inside the village, we used to bike with the kids and we enjoyed every ride.

Biking with kids is always fun and for sure it helps to increase the child -parent bonding. These days most of the times children are stuck to their tablets so any kind of outdoor activity is just so perfect.
Moreover I feel that spending a quality time with the kid is the best gift the parent can ever give to his child. These are precious moments whose memories will be cherished for the whole life.

I would love to do that myself and in fact I go biking with a kid of 6 around the front park with a well built cycling track and other exercising facilities. I sometimes enjoy biking when he follows me on his scooter and tries to compete with me. I must admit that it's fun to let him win and see the joy on his face.

Actually it was great, we cycled for a few kilometers, had an ice-cream, and the kids were happy. Maybe it was too soon for me lol, as I had knee surgery recently, and today I have a swollen knee, so no biking for me in the next days, just rest haha.

It's very good and works as perfectly as a great entertainment for both the children and the adults who accompany them.
The benefits are as diverse as possible, ranging from physical issues (developing the good habit of practicing exercises) to psychological issues (interacting with others).
If you always have the opportunity to ride a bike, never let it down.

Yeah, pretty much. It's all about having the free time, as usually there is always something to be done. So I need to have a couple of hours to spare, take the bikes out of the storage, fill the tires, and finally get out to the street with them. It requires free time, and being psychologically available, especially if it's during the working week.
